Kill Wasps, ants and other critters!

It's spring in Oklahoma and the means time for wasps, ants and other critters.

FOR WASPS: Get Boric Acid Powder. Make sure it is not the one for roaches. Has to be about 8-100% pure boric acid.

Take 1/2 bottle of apple juice, 2 tablespoons of boric acid and shake it up. The take several soda cans and put a small stick inside so the wasps can crawl back out after they went in. They will carry the boric liquid home to their nest and will kill the rest within a few days.

For Ants: Take 1 cup of powdered sugar and mix with 1 teaspoon boric acid. Put in small containers, like cat food container. Ants will go in it and carry it back to their nest. It will kill the colony within 1 to 2 weeks.

Wasp Trap: Take a milk jar and fill 1/3 with water, add few drops of dish soap. Take a cotton ball and tie it with dental floss to hang it just a bit down into the air space of the jar ONCE you have added the wasp additive to pour on it (little packages for wasp trap refills, stinks) Best is to tie the dental floss string around the jar and handle to keep the cotton ball in place to attract the wasps.

Wasp Sprayer: Take either a good spraying spray bottle or large water gun blaster. Fill spray bottle with water, add 2 tablespoons of dish soap and add 15 drops of Peppermint Oil, not mint oil. This is an inexpensive way to kill wasp and with the water gun blaster you can keep a distance. Wasp cannot fly with the soap on their body, they fall to the ground and will die in a few minutes.
